Learning People Limited, a Cow Corner portfolio business, has made an investment in AccountingCPD, a leading provider of CPD resources for accountants.
AcccountingCPD are the leading provider of CPD for ACCA members globally as well as providing similar resources for accountants who are members of other professional bodies. They produce high quality, engaging, online CPD content that can be completed in bite-size chunks. The content is provided through their mobile-first website, and when an accountant completes a course, it is recorded automatically in their CPD log, which can then be submitted to the accountant’s regulatory body as part of their year-end membership renewal.
AccountingCPD sell the content directly to individual accountants, to companies who provide the content for their employees, and to accounting regulatory bodies who provide the content to their members as a membership benefit.
Alan Nelson, the co-founder, will remain as CEO of the business and continues to be a significant investor in the business. “The opportunities that this deal presents for accountingcpd are vast.” says Alan. “At the moment we are just one part of one vertical, but as Learning People grows, there is potential to extend our offering for accountants, or to help provide Continuing Professional Development opportunities in other sectors.
