Cow Corner have acquired Antrams Financial Services LLP (“Antrams”) and PIER Financial Investments Limited (“PIER”), which together with Cow Corner’s existing investment in Pembroke, is the leading IFA in Sussex. Stephen Antram, the founder, will remain a significant investor in the business.
Stephen Antram founded his business in Brighton over 30 years ago and more recently established PIER, a Direct Fund Manager. PIER provides clients with access to Exchange Traded Funds and index trackers allowing them direct access to market returns at a much lower cost than conventional active fund managers. Based on sound investment principles and specialised research, their combination of personalised benefits and competitive cost is a hugely attractive proposition in the market. The Antrams business has more than 40 employees of whom 20 are IFAs based in Brighton and across the Sussex coast and Stephen and his team have played a significant part in the local community since the inception of their business.
